The Re-ogranisation and Formation of New District, the Jagtial District has been formed with effect from 11th October 2016 vide G.O.Ms.No.226 Revenue (DA-CMRF) Department, Dt. 11.10.2016. In this new District the District Forest Officer’s Office come into existence at Jagtial with effect from 11-10-2016, inaugurated by Sri P. Ramesh, SFS., District Forest Officer, Jagtial. This office is located towards the North of Telangana State. It borders are in North Adilabad District , West Nizamabad Distict, East Karimnagar District of the Jagtial District. The natural boundaries are Godavari in the North and West side of the District. The District Forest Office building located in the Forest Complex, Jagtial on PWD Road towards Dharampuri.
