Brief Notes on Development Activities of BC Welfare Department-taken up in Jagtial District
1) SANCTION OF POST-M ATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS TO BCs (MTF):-
During the Year 2019-20 an amount of Rs.12,17,32,921/- lakhs released, out of which an
Amount of Rs.12,17,25,515/- lakhs spent covering (49168) BC students.
2) SANCTION OF FEE REIMBURSEMENT TO (BC STUDENTS):-
During the Year 2019-20 an amount of Rs.12,84,03,270/-lakhs released, out of which
an amount of Rs.12,84,03,133/- lakhs spent covering (30024) BC students.
3) SANCTION OF FEES REIMBURSEMENT TO (EBC STUDENTS):-
During the Year 2019-20 an amount of Rs.89,08,734/-lakhs released, out of which an
amount of Rs.82,67,350/-lakhs spent covering (3223) EBC students.
4 SANCTION OF PRE-M ATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS TO BC STUDENTS:-
During the Year 2019-20 an amount of Rs.11,69,000/- lakhs released, and an amount of
Rs.4,87,000/- has been ssent covering (487) BCs to the 9th and 10th class Students.
5) MAINTENANCE OF GOVT.PRE-MATRIC HOSTELS:-
There are (9) Boys and (1) Girls Hostels functioning in this District, during the Year
2019-20 an amount of Rs 1,28,44,334/- lakhs released for maintenance of Hostels and
An amount of Rs. 1,26,63,718/- lakhs has been spent.
6) MAINTENANCE OF GOVT.POST-MATRIC HOSTELS:-
There are (3) Boys and (3) Girls Hostels functioning in this District, during the Year
2019-20 an amount of Rs 1,31,48,604/- lakhs released, and an amount of 1,28,50,144/
lakhs has been spent.
7) SSC RESULTS:-
During the Year 2019-20, (110) students were appeared for SSC Examinations and passed 100%in (10) Hostels.
8) IMPLEMENTATION OF KALYANA LAKSHMI PATHAKAM:–
During the year 2019-20 an amount of Rs.34,40,00,000/- crores released and Rs.33,99,34895/-
has been sanctioned in Jagtial Dist. Covering (3540) BC & EBC Beneficiaries.and there is
3038 applications are pending for want of budget for Rs.30,00,87,303/-
