The objective of the Telangana State Minority Welfare Department is to provide financial assistance to various minorities and improve their standard of living. District Total Population 9,88,913 Minority Total Population 81,934 (8.29%)

  1. Bank Linked Subsidy Scheme:

Every  year Department releases A special notification inviting the applications through OBMMS for Self Employment a) Residence proof certificate Aadhar card as mandatory b) Age between 21 to 55 years  c) Income from all sources is below Rs.1,50,000/- in Rural areas & Rs.2,00,000/- in urban areas are eligible for financial assistance under the scheme. website: tsobmms.cgg.gov.in

Category IA   :  Unit Cost up to  Rs.50,000/- – Subsidy 100%

Category IB   :  Unit Cost of  Rs.50,000/- above 1,00,000/- below  – Subsidy 80%

Category II     :  Unit Cost of  above Rs.1.00,000/- to 2,00,000  lakhs – Subsidy 70% subject to   maximum  of Rs.1,40,000/- whichever is less.

Category III    : Unit Cost above Rs.2,00,000 to 10,00,000/- lakhs – Subsidy 60% limited to Rs.5,00,000 /- lakhs balance is bank loan.

For the year 2019-20 The Training Programmes started for Minority Un employed youth / Womens through NAC, Jagtial and Hi Fashion designs in the district.

  1. IV) Residential Schools ( TMREIS)

The society is to provide High Education for talented children belongs to Minorities community, through pace setting Residential School. TMREIS will be setup as an autonomous organization to establish and manage these Residential Schools. It is envisioned that there would be one school in each constituency of State. It comes to (05) Residential Schools are established, in the district 1) Jagtial   ( Girls )  2) Korutla (Boys)  3) Jagtial ( Boys ) 4) Dharmapuri ( Girls) 5) Metpally (Boys)

Eligibility:  A) Annual Income of the parent from all sources below Rs.1,50,000/- in Rural areas & Rs.2,00,000/- in urban areas B) Residence proof certificate Aadhar card  or Ration Card .
