      Cooperation Department has regulatory functions. No schemes are implemented.

Department Activities :

• Regulatory functions including registration in respect of Cooperative Societies under Telangana Cooperative Societies Act, 1964.
• Registration of Co – Operative Societies under Telangana Mutually Aided Cooperative Societies Act, 1995.
• Elections to Coop. Societies under purview of the Department on the orders of the State Cooperative Election Authority.
• Audit of all Coop. Societies including Functional Registrars’ Societies.
• Inquiries, Inspections, Surcharge Inquiries under the TCS Act,1964.
• Liquidation of Coop. Societies.
